Why we do it

Sobremesa was created from a simple belief: food has the power to hold space for connection, fun and the feeling of being part of something. With roots in cooking and design, we approach each event as an experience where atmosphere, flavour and intention come together.

We work with brands, teams and private groups, from custom concepts to shared-table dining and small bites, using seasonal ingredients and ideas that reflect the context they are made for.

About the founder

Born in Argentina and based in Copenhagen, Facundo has more than 10 years of experience in hospitality as a chef, baker and project manager, combined with a background in industrial design, strategy and service design. He created Sobremesa to bring gastronomy and design together, and to create spaces where curiosity and flavour lead to a moment of connection.

How we work

With backgrounds in design and the service industry, we believe clear communication, shared ideation and good coordination make a successful partnership. Every project starts with your goals: what is the intent of the event, and what role do food and service play in it?

From there, we use flavour, aesthetics, service and space to shape how the evening feels and what people take from it. We stay curious and open to different perspectives, and when an idea feels right, we try it out.
